Time to Expand

Crochet Basically...using basic crochet designs, my goal is to make useful/pretty crochet items. But who am I to be giving other people advice? Well, I've been crocheting since my early teens when my stepmother taught me. I now have a few friends to help me out occasionally but I pretty much figure everything out by myself, using the internet as a crutch. One thing I keep noticing, part of the reason I wanted to start this, is a huge gap between easy and intermediate in patterns. I'd like to make that gap a little smaller. Sometimes I see "easy" crochet patterns that have just cruddy transcriptions. And I'm sitting here trying to figure out these patterns with no one to help me out, really, other than some videos on the internet. I might make other patterns I find a little easier by making my own spin on it, I might add my own patterns or craft ideas, and I'm definitely going to be giving nice, easy to understand advice.
